Advertising on social media allows us to reach those who might be interested in contributing to the project but we think it’s important to let you know that, although we’d never target people based on whether they have experienced an eating disorder, Facebook/Instagram does not allow advertisers to target people using that criteria. Instead, we reach people based on whether they have interacted with our website, our social media content or our charity partner Beat’s website, or those who are considered similar to registered users of EDGI.
