Professor Gerome Breen

Gerome is the Chief Investigator of EDGI. His primary research interest lies in the biological basis of common mental health disorders and determining the genetic links in eating disorders, affective (mood) disorders and psychosis. Through his role as lead of the NIHR BioResource Centre Maudsley, in which he heads a biobanking and genomics/biomarker laboratory, he facilitates numerous genetic studies investigating the influence of genes on mental health.
